The Texan Sandwich
In a word- Yum! Walking around near deally plaza, looking for a nice Texas restaurant to get dinner and allow traffic to lighten up after rush hour. Moaks is new, was not even on Google maps yet. Found them on the way to another place and decided to give it a try. It was delicious! Great, casual, tasty way to end our tour of this little area while visiting Dallas. Staff was very friendly, too! And we didn't feel terribly underdressed, since we were in T-shirts and shorts doing the touristy stuff.
Texas Brisket
Today I stumbled into the best barbecue I've had in Dallas. Moak's Family Texas Barbecue was full of energy, kind staff and excellent food. The chopped brisket sandwich was a great choice which I highly recommend. Did I mention friendly staff? I will definitely be coming back.!
